1. Acceptance

By playing PHYSICS LAB ("the Game") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

2. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Game;
• remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notice;
• use the Game for any unlawful purpose.

Reverse engineering, modification and study for personal or educational purposes are permitted, as are any rights granted to you by applicable law.

4. Levels you create

The Game includes a level editor. Levels you build are stored on your device. You can share a level as a link, and you can publish it to the public player gallery.

• Your content, your responsibility. You are responsible for what you put in a level you share or publish, including its name, creator name and hint. Do not include content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringes someone else's rights, advertises, or discloses anyone's personal information.
• Permission to play and remix. By sharing a level link or publishing a level you allow anyone to play it, and to open it in the editor as a remix and share their own version. You keep any rights you have in your level.
• Licence for the gallery. By publishing a level you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it in the Game, the gallery, leaderboards and promotion of the Game, for as long as it stays published. You can remove your level at any time from the editor; copies already made as remixes are not affected.
• Remixing official levels. You may remix the Game's official levels and share or publish the result. This does not grant any other rights in the Game's official content.
• Verification. A "solvable" badge means the creator's own solution was re-run and reached the goal. It is not a review or an endorsement of the level's content.

5. Moderation and reporting

• Text in published levels and leaderboard names is screened automatically, and anyone can report a published level. A level with several independent reports is hidden until a moderator reviews it.
• We may hide or remove any published level, leaderboard entry or name that breaks these terms or the law, or that we reasonably consider harmful, and may block further publishing from the same device. Where we remove your content we will, on request, tell you why.
• To report content or appeal a removal, use the in-game Report button or email projectteamforyou@gmail.com.
• Levels shared only as links are not stored by us, so we cannot take them down; if a link is being used to spread harmful content, contact us and we will help where we can.

6. Leaderboards and fair play

• Times are measured by our server, which replays the placement you used, and Daily Lab scores in the arcade are measured by replaying the input of your run. You agree not to manipulate leaderboards, likes or play counts - for example by bots or other automated input, automated submissions, modified clients, exploiting bugs, or using many devices.
• Arcade progress (medals, XP, streaks) is kept only on your device and has no monetary value; clearing your browser data deletes it.
• Leaderboard names must follow section 4 and must not impersonate others.
• We may remove entries or reset a leaderboard to correct abuse or errors.

7. Development status

The Game is under active development. Features, levels, physics behaviour and the online services may change, be interrupted or be removed without notice, and the Game may contain defects. Published levels and leaderboards are provided as available, without a guarantee that they will be kept indefinitely.

8. Accounts, payments and advertising

This version has no accounts, no payments, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no advertising. The online features identify a device only by a random ID (see the privacy policy). If any of these are added in a future version, separate terms will be presented before they take effect.

9. Intellectual property

The Game, including its source code, artwork, official level design and name, remains the property of its developers. These terms grant no ownership rights. Levels made by players are covered by section 4.

10. Disclaimer of warranty

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect any statutory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
